CELLAR SERIES: Domaine des Cabottes
This 22 October, join us at Society for a one-of-a-kind dinner for any Burgundy lover, marking the exclusive Australian launch of François Pinault’s Artémis Domaines’ newest prestigious property, Domaine des Cabottes.
Unveiled only last year and presenting its wines outside France for the very first time, the domaine officially hit the market with the 2023 vintage. The fruit for each wine is sourced from uber-premium, historical parcels in the Côte de Beaune, including some of the most iconic from one of the oldest Burgundy négociants, Bouchard Père et Fils, such as Beaune Grèves premier cru Vigne de l’Enfant Jésus, and Volnay Caillerets.
Named after the dry-stone shelters that pepper the vineyards of the Côte d’Or (cabottes in French), the domaine is a testament to Burgundy’s millennia-rooted tradition of fine wine production, while keeping a keen eye on the present with the future in mind – placing particular emphasis on a fully organic approach, and working toward complete biodynamic conversion by next year.
An incredible line-up of wines, including Grand Cru Chevalier-Montrachet and Le Corton served side-by-side from both Cabottes and Bouchard, will be complemented by a refined menu specially designed by Executive Chef Joachim Lim. Tickets priced at $1,450.
Book now to avoid disappointment.
